24V Red Flash Battery System provides standby power at level crossings. The Red Flash battery directly replaces conventional Wet NiCd and flooded lead acid batteries. Its modular construction facilitates safe handling and eases on-site installation. The batteries are totally maintenance free and require no topping up or regular inspection, and costs normally associated with the disposal of NiCd cells are reduced.

A typical 150Ah 24V battery exceeds the specified requirements for back up time at all types of level crossing providing in excess of 12 hour autonomy, and providing substantially more capacity than known existing battery systems.
