The interrupter is positioned on the stock rail rather than the switch rail, as near as possible to the switch toe, commensurate with maintaining a 70mm Free Wheel Clearance with the switch closed. The Interrupter may be fitted to Flat Bottom or Bull Head rail as illustrated. The centre of the bolt is 80mm ± 2mm from the top of the rail.The snap away body of the TCI is to have a 10mm gap to the running edge of the rail and 10mm gap from the top of the rail.
