RIVVAL were awarded a delivery project for the supply of a point heating condition monitoring system for Northern Ireland Railways. The system was required to monitor the operation of an existing point heating system to determine the periods of on/off compared with a related cold rail temperature.

• Trackside cabinet wiring diagrams;
• Programming of condition monitoring units;
• Mechanical assembly of trackside cabinets;
• Wiring and testing of trackside cabinets;
• Interrogation programme layouts;
• Setup and testing to interrogation programme.
