The Service
The contract award is to offer a complete refurbishment on an Impedance Bond.
The process includes the collection of units from compound sites where units have been removed from service, assessment of the units to determine if they're repairable or deemed BER, complete strip-down and cleaning of the unit and components, re-engineering of parts or (where required) sourcing of replacements, re-assembly of the units to there original OEM state and rigorous testing to validate the refurbishment process.
Extra Mile...
A dedicated facility was established, complete with specialist equipment such as industrial cleaning/degreasing units, as well as training for the technicians who were dedicated to repair and servicing of Impedance Bonds.
This was to achieve the re-service quality of the Impedance Bonds that RIVVAL deemed acceptable to supply back to the customer and to allow for a quick overhaul of the units.
